Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This site, glaciaura.in, is operated by Ay Aqua Solution, trading as Glaciaura, from B-96, Basement, Pushpanjali Enclave, Pitampura, New Delhi 110034.

In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Ay Aqua Solution. "You" means anyone visiting the site or contacting us about our products.

We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here, and we are responsible for how it is handled.

2. What we collect

We keep this deliberately small. We collect only what is needed to quote, supply and support an order.

3. How we use it

Your data is used to:

• Reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation
• Confirm stock, calculate freight and dispatch your order
• Issue invoices and maintain accounting records
• Handle warranty claims, returns and service requests
• Verify and operate a trade account, where you have one
• Keep the site secure and functioning

We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it for advertising. We do not send marketing messages unless you have asked us to, and we run no advertising trackers on this site.

4. Ordering over WhatsApp

Our enquiry forms do not send anything to our servers. When you press submit, your answers are assembled into a message and WhatsApp opens on your own device with that message ready. Nothing reaches us until you choose to send it.

Once you send it, the conversation is carried by WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. Message content is end-to-end encrypted between you and us, but Meta handles the delivery and holds its own metadata about the exchange under its own terms.

We keep these conversations because they are the order record — the quotation, what was agreed and what was dispatched all live in that thread.

5. Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies, all of them functional:

• Cart and session cookies set by WooCommerce, so your cart and preferences survive between pages
• Login cookies, only if you have an account and are signed in
• Security cookies used to protect forms against abuse

We run no advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels and no cross-site tracking. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, though the cart will stop working if you block them entirely.

6. Third parties

Running the site and fulfilling orders means some data passes through other companies. These are the ones that apply:

We may also disclose data where a court or a lawful authority requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute. Beyond that, nobody else gets it.

7. How long we keep it

• Invoices and accounting records — for the period Indian tax law requires them to be preserved
• Order and WhatsApp conversations — while the account is active, and afterwards for as long as a warranty claim on those items remains possible
• Trade account documents — for as long as the account is open, then as accounting rules require
• Enquiries that never became orders — deleted once the enquiry is clearly closed
• Server logs — retained briefly for security, then overwritten

When data is no longer needed for any of these purposes, we delete it.

8. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and what we have done with it
• Correct anything inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
• Erase data we no longer need, where no law requires us to keep it
• Withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot
• Complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it

Write to the address in section 12 and we will respond. We may need to confirm who you are first, so that we do not disclose someone else's data by mistake.

9. Security

The site runs over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and it is encrypted. Access to order records and the site's admin is restricted to people who need it, and the platform and its components are kept updated.

That said, no method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

10. Children

This is a trade supply site and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this page when the way we handle data changes — for instance if a payment gateway, analytics or a newsletter is added. The date at the top always shows the current version.

Where a change materially affects how your data is used, we will say so rather than quietly updating the date.

12. Contact and grievances

For any question about this policy, or to exercise a right under section 8, contact our Grievance Officer. We aim to acknowledge within a few working days and resolve as quickly as we reasonably can.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.
