RO Tank Valve 1/4″ – Storage Tank Ball Valve
The RO Tank Valve 1/4″ is a replacement ball valve / shut-off valve designed for use with compatible pressurized RO water storage tanks.
The valve allows you to easily control the water flow between the RO storage tank and the connected water line. The quarter-turn blue lever provides simple ON/OFF operation, making it convenient during RO servicing, filter replacement, tank maintenance and troubleshooting.
The quick-connect design allows compatible 1/4″ OD RO tubing to be connected easily without complicated installation. Similar RO tank ball valves are commonly configured with a tank-side female pipe thread and a 1/4″ quick-connect tubing outlet.

How Does an RO Tank Valve Work?
The valve controls the water flow from the RO storage tank.
Lever ON: Water flow is allowed through the valve.
Lever OFF: Water flow from the tank is shut off.
This makes it useful when servicing the RO system, replacing filters or isolating the storage tank.
Installation
- Turn OFF the RO system and water supply.
- Close the existing tank valve before removing it.
- Check the tank connection and thread size.
- Install the valve onto the compatible RO tank connection.
- Connect compatible 1/4″ OD RO tubing to the quick-connect port.
- Turn the lever ON and check all connections for leakage.
Do not overtighten plastic threaded connections. For threaded tank connections, use an appropriate sealing method as required by the fitting design. Manufacturer/product instructions for similar RO tank valves also caution against overtightening plastic connections.
